Is it possible to use alternate tile servers than the defaults?

I'd like to use the "cassini-gl-style" tile server from Makinga Corpus. Is there currently a way of doing that with the Maps Extension?

(I also use SemanticMediaWiki, if this is relevant or helpful.)

Not directly. cassini-gl-style is a MapLibre GL vector style, and Maps renders Leaflet maps with raster tiles only. There is no GL/vector tile support, so it can't use that style.

Maps does support a range of alternate (raster) tile providers out of the box via leaflet-providers such as OpenTopoMap and GeoportailFrance. You select one with the layer parameter and configure which are available via $egMapsLeafletAvailableLayers. There's no config option for an arbitrary tile URL, though.
