Note
Low Risk
Marketing/content-only MDX changes with no application logic; main risk is SEO/title mismatch for inbound links expecting “14 alternatives.”
Overview
Replaces the 14-tool Otter.ai alternatives article with a six-alternative guide (Anarlog, Granola, Fireflies, Tactiq, Notta, Meetily) plus when to stay on Otter. SEO metadata moves from “14 Best … in 2026” to “6 Best …” with a new description and date
2026-07-19.The narrative shifts from “avoid the bot” to capture method, where the meeting record lives, and post-meeting workflow. Otter is updated to note desktop and Chrome bot-free capture alongside the visible Notetaker, with a workflow comparison table (bot visibility, unattended attendance, default record location).
Product write-ups are restructured around when to choose / tradeoffs instead of long feature-vs-Otter lists; pricing tables and the old selection-criteria section are dropped in favor of advising readers to validate current plans. Seven first-party product images are wired through
/api/assets/blog/library/...(replacing older/api/assets/blog/otter-ai-alternatives/*.webpassets). New evaluation checklist, FAQ, and a shorter closing CTA round out the piece.Reviewed by Cursor Bugbot for commit d17e5f8. Bugbot is set up for automated code reviews on this repo. Configure here.
