origin/bugfix/custom-mg-parallel holds substantial finished-looking work from a session that was lost before it could open a PR: 52 commits, +5,274 / −115 lines, last commit 2026-07-03. The branch is safe on origin — nothing was lost — but it is unlanded.
Content (from the branch log): cross-partition transfer for non-nested coarse tails at np>1; operator-faithful finest reduced map on adapt children; new/extended tests (test_0839_nvb_parallel_adapt.py, test_1016_custom_mg_hierarchy.py). Note it merged feature/adapt-on-top into itself, so part of its diff may already be on development via other routes.
Landing plan (own session): reconcile with post-quality-campaign development (Waves A–E and #363 touched neighbouring files); establish what is genuinely new vs already-landed; full serial + np2/np4 gates; PR to development.
Blocked behind this: the D-custom_mg readability rows (REMEDIATION-WORKLIST D-79..D-87) and the WC-04 builder= unification note.
