Explanation of Change

Follow-up docs update for the changes in #95812, which adjusts the Security page when Copiloting into an agent account.

The Create and Use Agents help article is updated to reflect the new behavior:

  • How to delete an agent — added an alternative path: while Copiloting into an agent, deleting it from Account > Security > Close account (with a Delete agent? confirmation), which also ends the Copilot session. Noted that this path requires an internet connection.
  • FAQ — added "Why does the Security page look different when I Copilot into an agent?" explaining that Device management and Merge accounts are hidden and Close account deletes the agent instead of opening the standard close-account flow.

All UI labels (Account, Security, Close account, Delete agent?, Delete, Device management, Merge accounts) were verified against src/languages/en.ts and the PR diff for exact capitalization, and the article follows HELPSITE_NAMING_CONVENTIONS.md, HELP_AUTHORING_GUIDELINES.md, and TEMPLATE.md.

HelpDot Documentation Review

Overall Assessment

This PR makes a small, focused update to Create-and-Use-Custom-Agents.md, documenting a new alternative path for deleting an agent while Copiloting into its account, plus a new FAQ explaining why the Security page differs in that context. The changes are well-scoped, follow the article existing patterns, and accurately reflect the source PR (E/A 95812).

Scores Summary

  • Readability: 9/10 - Steps are sequential, action-oriented, and easy to scan. The post-step note about ending the Copilot session and requiring an internet connection is clear and correctly placed outside the numbered list.
  • AI Readiness: 9/10 - The new FAQ heading is a question (permitted under the FAQ task-based exemption). Full feature names are used, heading hierarchy stays within the allowed levels, and the content maps to a realistic search query. No metadata changes were needed.
  • Style Compliance: 9/10 - Navigation phrasing matches the unified web/mobile standard verbatim. All UI labels (Account, Security, Close account, Delete agent?, Delete, Device management, Merge accounts) are bolded, in Sentence case, unquoted, and match the source diff.

Key Findings

  • Reuses the approved unified navigation pattern exactly: "In the navigation tabs (on the left on web, on the bottom on mobile)".
  • No links placed inside numbered steps; the internet-connection dependency is stated in an explanatory sentence, per Cross-Linking Standards.
  • The FAQ entry cleanly explains the context behavior differences (hidden Device management and Merge accounts, redirected Close account) without softening the limitation.
  • Minor consistency note: step 1 uses Copilot as a verb, consistent with the rest of the article voice.

Recommendations

  • No blocking issues. Optional: consider a one-line cross-reference between the new delete path and the existing "How to Copilot into an agent account" section for discoverability, but this is not required.

Files Reviewed

  • docs/articles/new-expensify/ai-agents/Create-and-Use-Custom-Agents.md — Approved; additive changes are compliant with all three governance files.

Note: This PR changes are small and self-contained; the findings above cover the full diff.
