Reviewed the complete one-commit workflow diff and upstream actions/checkout v7 release at head 57deff6. No blocking correctness, compatibility, licensing, privacy, or security findings. The action remains pinned to the exact official v7.0.0 commit, workflow permissions remain contents: read, and v7 adds protection against unsafe fork checkout in trusted workflow contexts. No fixes were needed. Local validation: editable dev install; Ruff lint and format checks; pytest (1,294 passed, 2 skipped); sdist and wheel build. All GitHub CI jobs for Python 3.10-3.14 are green. Remaining risk is limited to the intended Node 24 action-runtime change on GitHub-hosted ubuntu-latest. Recommended action: squash-merge.
