Request for Discussion is a simple document handling system. It was inspired by a similar system at Oxide Computer (Oxide RFD-1, blog post introducing it).
The system has two Github repos, one private where we create and discuss RFDs internally, and one public repo (this repo) where we inform an interested public about our plans and decisions.
We invite comments in issues, since there's currently no way to accept PRs in the public repo without upsetting the system.
